As you are reading this article right now, your brain is arranging twenty-six letters into words, which become sentences and may eventually turn into research papers. Inside the skull of every human being sits a three-pound pile of goo that controls everything you do. From the way you breathe to the way you sleep, your brain does all the work. Scientists have been studying the brain for hundreds of years, but they have only understood a small part of how it works. But scientists have found some differences and similarities between the average male and female brain. The question is: which brain is more superior? On average, women's brains are more superior than men's. The average woman uses her mental abilities better than the average man. “Women are better at interpreting body language” (Brynie, 101-116), meaning that women can detect what one might feel faster than a man can. Because women are better at interpreting body language, they seem to manage emotions well. Women do not usually use physical aggression towards each other, which may be because "women, as a whole, may also be better than men at controlling their emotions" (webmd.com ). Going back to the fact that women are able to identify their feelings faster, they are also better at tasks that involve intuition. Independent.co.uk wrote an article comparing the male and female brain, in which Professor Ragini Verma commented: "as female connections connect with the left hemisphere, which is associated with logical thinking, with the right one, which is linked to intuition, this could help explain why women tend to do better than men at intuitive tasks.” The way the female brain is wired can certainly explain why women behave in different way than men. ...... center of paper ...... between men's and women's brains |.
