Welfare is an excellent incentive program to help those in need and meet basic human needs. Over time people started abusing the system. The program was created for those who have worked very hard or who cannot work due to physical or mental problems. Many Americans on welfare today do not want to work and receive free money from the government. The homeless people who are on the streets deserve it more than anyone else. Our country is aware of this, but we are not taking action, we must step up and put an end to this immorality. Welfare should be reformed, because many people are abusing it, putting our government into debt, and giving away tax money from the paychecks of those who work. However, welfare is great for those who work hard and still struggle to support their families. However, over decades the welfare system has been abused and abused. These people have no reason to earn money, because they are guaranteed their monthly allowance. The system was created in the 1930s during the Great Depression to meet basic human needs. Americans who abuse the system are morally corrupt, because there are more than 600,000 people who need it more. These homeless people can't get social assistance because you have to have an address. Welfare must change that law, because those who suffer the most need help. Abusers do this because they know how easy it is to get money. Many people have children easily because they know the government will support them financially. People do not understand the duties of being parents and should not have children if they cannot support them. Parents who abuse the system use money for more than just basic human needs. We must educate people about human reproduction;......middle of paper......equal kings and give equal chances to become whatever you want. However, there are many solutions to this problem. The first thing our government can do is conduct more thorough searches and interview applicants. Secondly, they should help the homeless and have a government program to help those who are homeless. Our government may have several programs through which taxpayers know closely how their money is being used. We need to reduce spending and look more closely at where the money is going. Even though welfare currently helps many people, we should reform it so that people who need it can still receive their money. Welfare is really good at giving opportunities to those who have none, but it can be even better if it ends the abuse. We need our government to start doing more theoretical testing and acting quickly.
