Studies have also shown that the first time tobacco is introduced into a person's life is before graduation. In the United States, more than thirteen hundred people die every day from smoking, so if we could decrease the amount of smoking among teenagers, these numbers would drop dramatically. If we, as people, helped show those who smoke the cost of how much money they spend in a single month on owning cigarettes, it might change their minds. Many of those who smoke tend to have financial problems. We need to show them that cigarettes cost a lot and could increase the amount of money they could have for themselves or for other things they need at home or that some could help them pay for their expenses.
