Topic > The fact or meaning of forgiveness in The Kite Runner...

Before I even begin to attempt to write this article, I just want to start by covering the fact or meaning of forgiveness or being forgiven. In my personal life there have been numerous occasions where I have been forgiven or have been forgiven or have had to forgive someone else. I'm here to tell you that it's not easy to be in any of these positions. I say this because, whether you're the one being forgiven, or whether you're the one forgiving someone else, regardless of who they are, you're always in the spotlight. I know you're probably saying it's nice to be in the spotlight, but just because it shines doesn't mean it's glittery and just because it's beautiful doesn't mean it's gold. You see, to be forgiven you have to have gone through a process. This process includes accepting whatever you or the other person has done to be in the position you are in. The next step is to be able to slow down, stop and think about the things you can do to accomplish what you want. they did better. The last step is definitely the most difficult thing of all the others because we as human beings do not have the mental capacity to access that last push needed to forgive someone. This is one of the main reasons why so many large and dangerous crimes occur around the world. It's because people simply don't know how to be dependent and open. We don't understand that we need each other so that this ship we call a body can stay afloat. We need those emotions that we need to feel, we need to have that person there with that bottle of superglue to pick up our hearts when they've been broken into so many pieces you can... middle of paper... .. .those who mainly helped me get to the topic I had arrived at. Amir and Baba were the ones who confirmed my hypothesis about the theme of this book. Baba had to accept the fact that he had to forgive his son because it is not his fault that his wife died while she was giving birth to their son. At the end of the book he understood that the relationship with his son was a very precious relationship and he forgave him. In conclusion, Khaled Hosseini did an amazing job addressing the topic of forgiveness and the process needed to resolve it. forget and be forgiven. Hassan and Amir grew further and further apart throughout the story leaving room for another case of forgiveness to occur. Through this book I learned many lessons that will help me in life. This book really showed me how to forgive, forget and let go.
