He was alive. Scrooge went to the window and saw a boy, he said to him, "What is it today?" the boy replied “Because Christmas” Scrooge was amazed that the spirits had done everything in one night. Scrooge felt as cheerful as he could. He asked the boy if the giant turkey owned by the poultry farm had not yet been purchased. The boy had said no. Scrooge said, “Go and buy it, I'm serious. Come back and I'll give you a shilling, come back in less than five minutes and I'll give you half a crown. Scrooge intended to give it to the Cratchits who needed it so badly. Scrooge had also come to his nephews' dinner. Bob Cratchit was late the next day. Scrooge had told him: “I won't put up with this anymore. And so Mr. Cratchit, I will increase your salary. Bob Cratchit is very surprised by this. Scrooge having learned the lessons the ghosts had taught him, had finally learned the meaning of Christmas cheer. It was said of Scrooge that he knew how to celebrate Christmas well. And so, as Tiny Tim would say, God bless us, God bless us
