“Of course we are all individuals and no two people from the same culture are guaranteed to respond in exactly the same way. However, generalizations are valid to the extent that they provide clues to what you are most likely to encounter” (Goman). People have expectations about how I should act. I usually have a problem with these expectations. My big problem is that in the modern world I grew up in, I believe men and women should play an equal role in the family. I am responsible for the household chores and my brother does little to no work. It bothers me that people think it's okay for my brother to do nothing, but if I don't do anything people automatically call me lazy. I think we should both work so we can both have it
