During my school career I have always loved chemistry. In Chemistry there was always a sense that there was more, there was always something new and exciting to discover and theories to prove (or even disprove). Chemistry was the main subject with a real practical aspect during school and it is this, together with my genuine fascination with the subject, that fuels my desire to study it further. I am currently taking mathematics, chemistry and biology at Advanced Higher, all challenging and challenging subjects. They all influenced me in different ways and were integral to my decision to pursue a degree in Chemical Engineering. They also helped me gain a foundation of basic skills and expanded knowledge to hopefully prepare me to earn my desired degree. There is no doubt that mathematics and chemistry have helped me refine and advance my problem solving skills and think more logically, all of which I consider essential for this course.
