Women's Suffrage Movement. This movement took what had already been said and focused it on more specific topics such as the right to vote and the ability for women to be involved in US politics. When it came to the women's suffrage movement, the impact it would have on the United States would be fantastic. On August 18, 1920, women gained the right to vote. 72 years after women and men first met in Seneca Falls at the first women's rights convention, women finally had the chance to decide who represented them. Their voices would finally be heard and they could have a say in how women were treated. Now, with this right to vote, they would be able to take a bigger role in how the issues they are fighting are handled. Getting this right to vote would open so many doors
