Topic > Decision Making at Radio Flyer - 1250

Good decision making is very vital to achieve any success in an organizational setup. Good decision making is also one of the key indicators of effective leadership. By being able to make timely and well-thought-out decisions, the leader is able to inspire and guide his team towards desired goals. Regardless of the size of the company, good decision making is necessary to ensure that the company is able to overcome difficult times (Bazerman & Moore, 2012). Radio Flyer management has demonstrated a high level of competence regarding good decision making. Starting from its founder, Antonio Pasin, to the current CEO, Robert Pasin (great-grandson of the founder), Radio Flyer's leadership has demonstrated one of the highest standards when it comes to making good decisions. Antonio Pasin deserves credit for creating Radio Flyer's rich legacy. Over the years, the company has grown and transformed the lives of the people around it (Sports, 2009). He strives to rediscover himself with each new generation that comes along. The great leadership skills represented by the founder of this great company have been passed down to all of its subsequent leaders, as evidenced by the skillful leadership represented by Robert Pasin. Whenever things are going well, there is little for the management team to engage in. However, when things aren't going in the right direction, an opportunity presents itself to showcase good decision making. Management is forced to decide whether to hire or fire workers, invest in new technology or machinery, venture into new product lines or close some, and how to raise the finances needed for business operations. For some time now the management of Radio Flyer seems to be aware of the importance... of the paper medium ......d of the rich organizational culture that its leaders have managed to implement. The result of such wise decisions was a successful company that managed to overcome the economic crisis of 2008 with minimal effort. Works Cited Bazerman, M., & Moore, D. A. (2012).
